Who can participate in the forums?
Any individual, from anywhere in the world, can participate in any of the forums.
What is the cost?
There is no charge to participate in the forums.
How do I register?
Click on the icon named “register” and then enter your details as prompted. You will then be sent an automated email to the email address that you provide which will contain details of your username and a randomly generated password. This password can be changed on your first log in to the forums.
How do I post a question?
Enter the forums and once you have registered you can select the subject you are interested on, click on the subject and post the question.
On what topics can I post a question?
You may post a question in any of the IF Forums.
How do I upload a file or image?
- Highlight the text that you wish to link to the file or image and a ‘link’ icon will appear in the toolbars
- Click on the ‘link’ icon (a chainlink)
- Click the browse icon next to the text field labelled ‘Link URL’
- Click the browse button (at the bottom left of the landing page)
- Browse for the file on your local drive and press the ‘upload’ button (bottom right)
- You should see a ‘File sucessfully uploaded’ message
- Select the Browse tab (top left)
- Select the file you wish to associate with the link
- Press the ‘Insert’ button
What about confidentiality of any information posted?
Any information posted will be publically available, so before posting any documents you must ensure permission from the document copyright holder.
