 |
A focused review of your company’s
production processes to assess the application of lean
and continuous improvement practices, and the operation
of processes to meet customer and business requirements
of quality, cost and delivery. |
 |
The lean assessment can be applied at two
levels: |
| |
1. |
A holistic lean assessment of the overall
production facility |
| |
2. |
A focused lean assessment applied to a line, cell or
specific production area. Whichever level is applied
the assessment
comprises two phases. |
| |
|
Phase 1 – Assessing the level
of lean practices, process operation and performance,
and the level of continuous process improvement and sustainability
Phase 2 – Assessing the environment
for change and sustainability |
 |
The lean assessment process is led by an
Industry Forum Engineer and conducted with your appointed
Company
representative. The result is; |
| |
+ |
an agreed judgment of the current situation |
| |
+ |
detailed feedback on key issues and opportunities for
improvement |
| |
+ |
ownership of actions for improvement |
 |
If required the Industry Forum Engineer
can then guide you to use the results of the assessment
to develop an appropriate improvement strategy that meets
the needs of your business. |
