Kevin Dimmelow
SMMT Industry Forum – Business Planning Director Kevin is a Chartered Accountant who qualified
in Birmingham with Coopers & Lybrand, gaining extensive
experience in manufacturing businesses.
He then transferred to the Philadelphia office for a two-year
secondment, at the end of which he joined the Bank of New England
in Portland, Maine with the task of developing strategic business
unit accounting.
In 1989 Kevin returned to the UK to join Group 4 Securitas,
and in 1991 was recruited by Lucas as Finance Manager for the
Diesel Aftermarket.
In October 1999 Kevin joined SMMT Industry Forum as Business
Planning Director, which includes responsibility for the finance
function.
