Team Leader Training

Your Team Leaders have a significant effect on the sustainability of improvements made in your workplace and these programmes concentrate on practical deployment of the lean techniques in the team leaders own work area and the key interpersonal skills they need to lead effectively.

You can choose from one of two programmes designed specifically to enhance the skills of team leaders operating in a lean environment.

  • The basic Team Leader Training programme runs for 25 days over a 4 month period
  • The Enhanced Team Leader Training proramme offers the additional benefit of the Team Leader gaining a recognised qualification in Business Improvement Techniques. This programme runs for 31 days spread over a 6 to 9 month period

The Team Leader Training Programme

This programme combines theory with practical application of the foundation lean tools and key leadership skills to ensure your team leaders have the knowledge and experience required to lead in a lean environment.

 

Between the main delivery phases each team leader has time to apply the techniques in their own area, ensuring that the learning phase is consolidated and that current performance measures are improved.

The Enhanced Team Leader Training Programme

This programme combines theory with practical application of the chosen qualification modules and key leadership skills to ensure your team leaders have the underpinning knowledge (UPK) and experience required to lead in a lean environment and complete a Level 3 qualification in Business Improvement Techniques.

 

Between the main delivery phases each team leader has time to apply the techniques in their chosen areas to start their individual projects. The three projects, red, amber and green, are the vehicle to collect the application evidence for the qualification. At the same time however, your organisation benefits from the improvements made during the projects.
