Finding All of the Benefits of Business Improvement
Struggling to justify investing in improvements?
Finding it hard to get commitment from those around you?
Feel like you and your accountant are on separate planets?
If you’re serious about improvement activities you’re serious about harnessing the ideas and energies of every person in your organisation. To get that kind of commitment you’ll need to make sure that everyone understands not just how to apply the tools and techniques but importantly why making such changes will improve the financial performance of the business and thereby enhance your ability to compete in difficult market conditions.
Industry Forum is supporting your efforts to instil a culture of continuous improvement by running a range of open courses under the banner Making the Link designed to help people make the link between the ‘how’ and the ‘why’ which will be suitable for all levels of your organisation. The courses will be led by Anne Hawkins who has worked with Industry Forum as an associate since 2003. Anne has an enviable reputation for explaining seemingly complex financial issues in straight-forward simple terms and is the author of a number of books including Lean Means Beans and Mastering the Numbers.
Through Industry Forum’s unique heritage and links with Japanese Industries, this programme offers unprecedented access to senior management and the shop floor of recognised world leading companies. The programme stimulates ideas and enthusiasm which guided by Industry Forum personnel and subject matter experts gives delegates the vision to achieve measurable improvement in their own organisations.
Forging the Link
This course empowers those committed to changing attitudes and delivering improvements to be more effective in getting their message across by tackling the two main barriers they usually face:
a lack of confidence in their own financial literacy
inappropriate financial measures
The session is highly participative and caters for all entry levels of financial experience from those who consider themselves financially illiterate to those with substantial previous exposure to financial issues.
