| Over the two days there were in excess of 800 young people and their teachers. A number of senior people from industry (Toyota, Jaguar, Automotive Academy & SMMT Industry Forum) also came to see the show. A number were heard to say “The best I have seen.”

The Youth Engineering Summit aims to raise awareness of the sheer range and excitement from careers in Engineering. Around 60% of the young audience had not considered a career in Engineering prior to attending the Youth Engineering Summit. By the end of the event half of these young people had changed their minds!! |
The Industry Forum Engineers enjoy a well earned celebration drink after the last show. ASIMO looks on bemused at the enjoyment gained from a small amount of fizzy liquid! |
